Faith & the Mind-Body Connection
|
|
Recent research has shown the dynamic interactions of how our mind influences our physical health and likewise how our state of physical health influences our emotional or mental well-being. Furthermore, research has shown how acute and chronic stress affects both our minds and bodies and the role of faith in dealing with stress. This workshop will describe the mind-body connection and explore how faith and religious coping behaviors can mitigate against the destructive aspects of stress in our lives. |
